our story

It all began with a friend request on Facebook, Jibil and Anate were acquainted, having exchanged a few online conversations, but there was no particular spark between them. Then, out of the blue, Anate received a call from a friend, revealing that someone wanted to say hi — and that someone turned out to be Jibil. During that group call with others, Jibil and Anate spoke briefly, and it was during this conversation that Jibil gave Anate the nickname 'Kuttipishashe. Following this, their interactions continued on the vintage platform of MSN.

One day, while Anate was sitting in class, Jibil initiated a chat on MSN, sparking a casual conversation that eventually led to them deciding to have their first one-on-one phone call later that day. When the anticipated call finally came, the two-hour conversation marked a turning point for Anate, as she began to feel a genuine connection for Jibil. As their interactions became more regular, Anate eventually confessed her feelings to Jibil. His response was a bit of a mix as he liked her too but, he explained that the timing wasn't right for a relationship.

They took a short break from talking but they found themselves drawn back to each other, realising that there was a special connection between them that transcended mere friendship. So, they decided to have an honest talk about their feelings, leading to a big night when Jibil asked Anate if she wanted to be his girlfriend. Anate, with a huge smile, said a loud and clear 'YES'!

Now, 12 years later, they stand on the brink of a lifetime journey together, their love story having evolved from a simple Facebook friend request to a profound and enduring connection.
